"I SAVED YOUR WORLD"
FALL 23
A sequel to House's debut Fall/Winter '22 collection,
"ARTIST MATTER"
Drawing inspiration from the wonderful worlds of Gunter Brus and Nick Drake, this collection tells a story from the perspective of an artist who, much like the late Nick Drake, grapples with self-doubt and self-critique, largely fueled by his art's lack of recognition. We follow along, witnessing his struggle to reconcile his identity and find his place in the world, which only the greatest of artists could ever even imagine.
It's a collection that delves deep into the human psyche, offering an intimate portrayal of one artist's journey for self-acceptance and recognition amidst a world that may not always fully appreciate their creative genius.

BRUS
The start, where we reference Gunter Brus and take a deep dive into the artist's story where we witness our artist's descent into a place of profound despair and self-inflicted harm, a chilling reflection of the pain that often accompanies unacknowledged or unsupported artistry.
PARASITE
A piece referencing Nick Drake, as we delve deeper into the artist's pain.
We see the artist's anguish intensifying, he begins to see himself as a parasite, a weight upon the world, and an entity feeding off his own creativity.
BEAUTIFUL WORLD
A piece, showing us how the artist’s self-destructive views reflect onto his work channeling his agony into the creation of his most personal body of work, a painting titled "Beautiful World." This body of work, born from the depths of his pain, finally brings the recognition and validation he has wanted.
TEMPERA
An end to the story, showcasing where the artist experiences a transformative shift in perspectives, symbolized by the simple act of applying "TEMPERA ink on canvas." This moment marks the turning point in his artistic journey.
